Introductions...
I've been playing Caravan Stories for just under a year,
and as I see more and more English speakers joining the game,
I thought I would start introducing various parts of the game in English to help English-speaking players understand more of the game.

What better place to start than the current Achi Star Village collaboration?

Tanabata - The Story of Orihime and the Hikoboshi
Tanabata is a summer festival in Japan that's a bit like Romeo and Juliet, except with a happier ending.
According to legend, the star princess Orihime (the star Vega) falls in love with a humble cowherd Hikoboshi (the star Altair).
Orihime's father permits the relationship, but they are only allowed to meet once a year when the two stars draw close to each other, and are otherwise separated by the great river of the Milky Way.
This is considered a romantic summer festival, if you want to learn more, there's lots of details on the internet! :-)

Abufello and Akari - Tanabata Cara Style
The story of Abufello and Akari is inspired by the great Tanabata legend.
When you first visit Achi village, you meet a young girl named Akari.
She doesn't know where she came from, only that her "Hikoboshi" has promised to meet her here.

A Falling Meteor and Strange Green (Grey) Man
Suddenly, a meteor crashes down from the sky.
Everyone rushes to the scene, and a strange creature crawls out from the wreckage.
He says his name is Abufello, and everyone decides he's a lizardman because they've never heard of aliens and he's green.

Akari is delighted her Hikoboshi has finally come to meet her, but Abufello says he can't be the Hikoboshi because he never planned to land on Iaru in the first place.
The party is soon attacked by some "star beasts" pursuing Abufello, and he rushes to protect Akari.

After the battle he collapses from his wounds, and is brought to the caravan.

Back to the Caravan, and Getting Back to the Mothership
In the caravan, Abufello explains to Melro (my transliteration) that he needs to return to his mothership, but his spacecraft is too damaged to leave orbit.
The giant turtle can't help much with that, but tells him to take it easy.

Akari has run off from shock at seeing Abufello collapse, and is being taken care of by the girls.
